I spent this week drawing, I finished all the drawings and now Im going to paint. I am in the studio now creating a full size book dummy with the images included, it turned out to be 60 pages long. I changed the leading of the text as well. as far as editing the text I plan to get to that when I'm done painting. Full speed ahead

ReplyDeleteGlad to see you finished the drawings! I would still suggest putting the crowd into the background of the club scene. The middle drawing of that triptych is kind of boring for the intense scene it is supposed to be portraying. Either adding the crowd, more background detail, enlarging the characters and moving them closer together, any of those could help fix that. You put so much love and detail into the one bedroom scene; I would love to see you take that kind of care into the details of your other drawings. I really like the way the death scene looks as well as the Ch. 1 part 3 intro page (but take a look at the lines of her leg; they are just a little off in that intro page).
I can't wait to see these once you have them painted. You have a lot of work ahead of you this week. Let me know if you need anything and good luck!
